Wendy Ann Kersker-Ninke, 67, of Oak Harbor and also Ft. Myers, FL, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH, one day shy of her 68th birthday. She was born on April 26, 1949, in Zanesville, OH, to Harold and Wanda (Roberts) Riggle. On October 14, 1972, in Columbus, OH, she married William Henry Kersker, III, and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1997. Wendy worked as a homemaker and after her first husband passed, she took over running the family businesses, Kersker, Inc., K Graphics, and Speedy K from 1997-1999. On July 29, 1999, in Las Vegas, NV, she married M. Lee Ninke, and he survives. Wendy enjoyed cooking, working as a recipe tester for Betty Rosbottom Cookbooks, and she also authored and published her own book, THE PLEASANT PHEASANT COOKBOOK. She also enjoyed boating and was a very good map plotter. Wendy and Lee spent half a year in Ohio and half the year in Ft. Myers, FL. Her family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband Lee of 17 years, she is survived by her daughters, Natalie (Patrick Mollohan) Kersker of Columbus, OH, and Jennifer Kersker of Westerville, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband. Cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH. Private services for Wendy will take place at a later date. Interment will be in Fish Cemetery, New Rochester, OH. Memorial contributions for Wendy may be given to the Kidney Association or the Kobacker House in Columbus, OH.
