Wendy Annette Havens, 44, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2026, as the result of a snowmobiling accident. Born on May 29, 1981, in Port Clinton, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Claude and Beverly (Barnette) Havens.
Wendy lived her life boldly; wild and free-spirited, with a heart that was as big as her smile. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, creating memories filled with music, adventure, and love. Whether she was heading to a country concert, riding around with her favorite tunes playing, or planning her next beach day or river tubing trip, Wendy embraced every moment with enthusiasm. She found joy in snowmobiling, target shooting, and pickleball, and she never turned down a trip to Casa Las Palmas. Her adventurous spirit and vibrant personality left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
For the past few years, Wendy worked at U.S. Gypsum, where she built meaningful friendships and was a valued member of the team.
Above all, Wendy was devoted to her family. She is survived by her children, Hannah Rodriguez (Tyler Pravlik), Alyssa (Matt) Myers, Kayla (Wyatt) Caskey, Robert Rodriguez Jr., and Cameron (Angela) Rodriguez; her cherished grandchildren, Piper Renee Myers-the twinkle of her grandmother's eye-Vayda, and River Rodriguez; her beloved grand-pups, Lola, Atlas, Hank, Ruby, Kipsie, and grand-cat, Zaboo. She is also survived by her mother, Beverly Havens; siblings, Cindy (Eddie) Harris, David (Mara) Palmer, and Walter (Petra) Havens; several special cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her life partner, John Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Havens; her father and mother-in-law, Bobby (Adrian) Rodriguez; her grandfather, Father Willard Barnette; grandmother, Beulah Robbins; brothers, Luther, Richard, and Dexter Havens, and Chris Palmer; and grand-pup, Gustopher.
