Wendell Judson Riley

Wendell J. Riley, age 80, passed away Tuesday Nov. 5, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA. The son of Jessie and Lorene Riley, he was born July 31, 1933 in Watertown, TN. Wendy lived most of his adult life in Toledo on Monac before moving to Pennsylvania to live with his son. He married Rose Mary Heyse in April 1954 and together raised 4 children. Wendy was a barber for over 20 years at Getzs Barbershop retiring in 1969. During retirement he loved to travel. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and auto racing. He is survived by his children, Terry Pauline Riley, Vicki Jesse Riley-Vasquez, Wayne Riley and Mike Chris Riley; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Banish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose in 1988, a sister, brother and parents. Friends may visit on Friday from 4-9 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
