Wayne E. Snyder

Wayne E. Snyder, age 85, of Maumee, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Clare Commons. He was the son of Frank and Adeline Snyder and was born on August 13, 1930. Wayne proudly served his country in the US Army 1st. Cavalry Division during the Korean War, where he was the recipient of a Purple Heart. He worked as a skilled carpenter and as a building inspector. Wayne enjoyed being on the water fishing or boating and the family spent 45 years at Baypoint at Marblehead. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed a good game of cards with family and friends. He loved his family and had an unstoppable jest for life. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, William (Kay); Terri (Bill) Teetrick and Mark (Becky); grandchildren, Angela and Gary Parker; Amanda and Chad Bialecki and Autumn and Sierra Snyder; and great grandchildren, Kayla Teetrick; Sierra Parker; Makenna and Cole Bialecki. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Millard; John; Mary Korb and Lillian Watts. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery with military honors.
