Wayne Norton

Wayne S. Norton, 64, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on April 10, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 27, 1953 to Donald and Dolores (Eggert) Norton in Toledo, OH. Wayne was one of the cofounders of the Wheelers Motorcycle Club. He played football for Raymer, Waite and Montana State and was an officer in his class at Waite High School. Wayne was a great man and loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dolores. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Debbie; children, Heather Marie (Gerry “Gator”) Kanavel, Dianne (Brian) Dearth; grandchildren, Matthew Templeton, Jessica Takacs, Jonathan and Ethan Burgei, and Hannah Lugibihl; special grandchildren, Dawnmarie Middlebrooks, Ryan Zacharia Noll, Bernard Middlebrooks; great grandchildren, Jazmine, Jackson Michael Middlebrooks, Dustin Ray Wayne Middlebrooks, Amber, Josh; 2 godsons; brother, Michael (Janet) Norton; nieces, Angela (Brad) Hafner, Karis (Ross) Lingenfelder; great nieces, Bella, Olivia, Celia, Tessa Hafner; great nephew, Jack Lingenfelder; and many cousins. Visitation will take place at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the start of funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
