Wayne Edward Glass

Wayne Glass, 61, of Walbridge, OH passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on August 19, 1956 to Mearle and Ruth (Duling) Glass. Wayne was a proud firefighter for the Lake Township Fire Department, Station #1, for 40 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Ruthann (Steven) Will, Raymond Glass, Constance Glass, Victor (Debbie) Glass, Faye (Scott) Balsmeyer, Maryrose Reynolds, Kenny Glass, and Christine (James) Perkins; Nieces and Nephews, Ian and William Will, Gabe and Michael Glass, Stacey Glass, Nichole Allen, Douglas Balsmeyer, Conary and Donovan Reynolds, K.C. and Bella Glass, Constance Lavender, and Andrew Perkins; and beloved cats, Snowball and Herman. Visitation will be held at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, 2017 from 2 pm – 8 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 at St. Jerome Parish in Walbridge, OH at 10:00 am. Wayne will lie in state from 9:00 am. until the start of mass.
