Wayne Carl Evans

Wayne Carl Evans, 72, of Marblehead, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio. He was born on January 13, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Wayne J. and Adeline C. (Kendzia) Evans. On January 13, 1972 he married Marie McWilliam and she survives. Wayne worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Tow-Lift in Cleveland and West Shore New Holland in Fremont until his retirement in 2007. Survivors include his loving wife, Marie; children, Wayne R. (Diana) Evans, Medina, Ohio, Kimberly (Jeff) Bowers, Medina, Ohio and Carl (Shannon) Evans, Fremont, Ohio; grandchildren, Mercedes (Kevin) Holliday, Adam Evans, and Jackson Evans; brother, Dale Evans, Stow, Ohio, as well as his canine companion, Ebony. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Cathy. Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 2pm until a Memorial Service at 4pm with Pastor Brian Hild officiating.
