Warren E. Musser

Warren E. Musser, 88, of Oak Harbor, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. He was born on January 19, 1927, in Bradner, Ohio, to Lloyd and Margaret (Smith) Musser. Warren graduated from Troy-Luckey High School after taking two years off of school to care for his family while his father was sick. On April 26, 1948, he married Gretchen Snyder and she preceded him in death on November 12, 1974. Warren was retired, but previously worked for the railroad and was a business owner in Oak Harbor. He was a member of LaPointe United Methodist Church and a member and officer of the Oak Harbor Conservation Club. Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and raising mink and rabbits. Warren is survived by his children: David W. (Estella) Musser, Stephen T. Musser, and Susan (James) Shively, 7 grandchildren: Shelley A. (Todd) Gray, Stacey M. (Paul) West, Jennifer L. (David) Fisher, Adam W. Shively, Lorena G.M. (James) Zebrowski, Gordon J. Shively, and Valarie S. Shively, 12 great grandchildren: Brooke Gray, Zach Gray, Benjamin West, Kaleb West, Olivia West, Amber Smith, Alexis Reau, Logan Fisher, Avery Zebrowski, Alexandra Zebrowski, Arianna Bliss, and Aidyn Goatee, 2 great great grandchildren: Kiyah Smith and Ashlynn Moore, and sisters: Margaret Smith and Pat (Ray) Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, mother of his children, & soul mate: Gretchen, and brothers: Sammy, Lloyd, and Norman Musser. Visitation will be at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Chuck Kaylor. Interment will be in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, OH. Memorial contributions for Warren can be given to LaPointe United Methodist Church, Stein Hospice, or Riverview Healthcare Campus Auxiliary.
