Wanda L. Welch

Wanda L. Welch, 80, of Genoa, died in her home Tuesday, July 1, 2008. She was born October 12, 1927, in Leavisburg, Ohio, to Wanzor and Nellie Boroff Case. On July 29, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, she married Robert R. Welch, who passed away August 2, 1995. Wanda worked for several physicians as a medical assistant. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa, where she founded and was in charge of the Thrift Shop for many years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert R., Jr. and Barbara Welch of Toledo, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, brother, Lloyd Case of Toledo, and sister, Rose Benjamin Harris of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Ralph Case, and sister, Hazel Muetzel. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Trinity United Methodist Church, 4th & Main Streets, Genoa, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials for Wanda may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church.
