Wanda F. Best

Wanda F. Best, 63, of Perrysburg, Ohio died suddenly Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife. She was born to Guy and Virginia Speagle in Valdese, North Carolina on January 7, 1953. Wanda spent most of her adult life residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area working in banking as a loan officer. In 2006, Wanda moved to Perrysburg, Ohio to be closer to her only daughter (Tammy) and her daughter's family. She worked in Perrysburg part time until retiring in March of 2015. Wanda was a hard worker her entire life always trying to better herself as well as help others around her. Wanda was always at her happiest when she was spending time with family and friends. Most recently, she loved attending Perrysburg sporting events to cheer on her grandsons. In the 1980s and 1990s, Wanda was an avid tennis player and practiced daily and competed in tournaments year round. She loved animals and always enjoyed the company of her dogs. She enjoyed reading, cooking and visits to the mountains of North Carolina. Wanda is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy Klusmeyer, grandson's Jackson, Boone and Kannon Klusmeyer, and friend and son-in-law Charles Klusmeyer. Wanda is also survived by her sisters, Linda Holder, Clara Speagle, her brothers, Leonard and Clayton Speagle of North Carolina, as well as many cousins, and nephews; Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Speagle, father, Guy Speagle, and brother, Luther Speagle. A private memorial will be held at a later time in Wanda's home state of North Carolina with family and friends.
