With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Wan Lee Fong, beloved mother and cherished friend. Wan Lee Fong was born on September 24, 1929, in Canton, China. She departed this life peacefully on April 2, 2026, at the age of 96, surrounded by love.
Wan Lee worked in the restaurant business, proudly serving at the Surf Club, where she was known for her warmth and dedication. Her commitment to family and community was evident in everything she did. She lived at Harbor Town Senior Residence in Perrysburg for the last ten years, where she made many friends. Wan was a member of the Yee Hong Association and the Asian Senior Center. She was a talented seamstress, sewing many of her and her families' clothes, and loved cooking and gardening.
Wan Lee is survived by her children, John (Madonna) Fong, Linda (Roy) Hill, Joyce Kosmatak, Helen (Russ) Jurski, Tom Fong; daughter-in-law, Sherry Fong; grandchildren, Brian (Danielle) Loo, Eric (Michelle) Hill, PJ (Erin) Hill, Sarah (Pete) Siekierski, Erika (Jered) Wagner, Kim (Ian) Humphreys, Adam (Patrick Connors) Jurski, Terry (Paul) Lu, Susan (James) Kennon, Henry Fong, Chester (Lisa) Fong, Elizabeth (Douglas) Deacon, Gerry Fong, Janice (Wade) Richards, Deanna Fong, Tina Stokes, Benson Fong, Nelson Fong, Sandra Fong, Wayne Fong; great-grandchildren, Brayden Loo, Brenden Hill, Dylan Loo, Adrianna Williams, Taylor Hill, Isla Hill, Henrik Humphreys, Andrew Siekierski, Perry Humphreys, Gemma Hill; and many more great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wing Fong; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Som Lee; one brother; two sisters; stepsons, Hing Fong and George Wah Fong; and stepdaughters, Pui Jang and Pui Wan.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 9 am at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623, until the time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will follow in The Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations in Wan's name may be given to the Yee Hong Association. Online condolences may be made at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
