Walter H. Nejvara

Walter H. Nejvara, 92 of Northwood, Ohio passed away July 11, 2014 at Regency Hospital. He was born on January 18, 1922 to James and Anna Nejvara. He served in the Army during WWII. He retired from G.M. Powertrain, Toledo in 1977 after 33 years. He is survived by, Helen, his son Robert (Patricia), grandchildren, Christopher and Thomas (Marla) Nejvara, LeighAnn (Ray) Sisler and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, sisters, Mildred Mosher and Ann Schondel. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, Ohio. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Flight.
