Walter L. Burdorf

Walter L. Burdorf, 81, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. He was born May 30, 1927 in Miami, FL, the son of Walter L. and Ada Schorr Burdorf. On June 16, 1951 he married Judy Von Thron and she preceded him in death on July 08, 1991. Walter was the president of Ludlow. He served in the U.S. Navy. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Walter L. Burdorf III, Von Burdorf, Edward Burdorf and Michael Burdorf; 9 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild: and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, parents, and sister. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, July 11, 2008 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH, where Military graveside services will be held.
