Walter Roy Boggs

Walter R. Boggs, Jr., age 8l, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Walter was born in Waterville, Ohio and was currently a resident of Homosassa, Florida and past resident of Perrysburg, Ohio where he and Georgena Deceased in 2000 raised two boys, Terry Leah and Tim Diana. Walter was a graduate of Libbey High School and The University of Toledo. He was an accomplished athlete having varsity lettered in three sports and played competitive baseball within the Armed Forces League after serving in the Korean War. Walter retired from the Toledo Blade and Chrysler Corporation, Jeep Division. He was a kind loving father and grandfather with two beautiful granddaughters, Emma and Ainsley and two handsome grandsons, Derek and Brandan. Whether you referred to Walter as Wally, Red, Pappa, or Dad he was always a sweet kind soul to all he encountered. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, Ohio on Friday, July 2, 2010, from 3-8 pm where funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 am.
