W. Edward Taylor

W. Edward Taylor, 65, of Elmore, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, March 4, 2010, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Ed was born January 31, 1945, in Syracuse, New York. He worked as a social worker and was a U.S. Navy veteran, who loved fishing and gold prospecting. Ed was an adventurer and had lived in many places both local and abroad. Survivors include his son, Edward Taylor, step sons, Andrew and David Kruse, step daughter, Michelle Angel, sister, Suzanne Merozzi, brother, Dave Taylor, and special friend, Sue Zunk. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa. The family has suggested memorials for Ed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa assisted the family with arrangements.
