Vivian Virginia Gin Silverwood Rose

Vivian V. Rose, 83, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, OH. Vivian was born on July 18, 1933 in Gypsum, OH, the daughter of Orville and Vivian (Voss) Silverwood. In 1955 in Angola, IN, she married Billy L. Rose and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1988. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Vivian will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughters: Kathy “Kay” Williams, Kami (Archie) Hernandez, Kimi (John) Millhouse; Sons: Arthur Lee Rose and William “Dee Dee” (Gale) Rose; 28 Grandchildren; 40 Great-Grandchildren; 8 Great-Great Grandchildren and Sisters: Catherine (Tom) Vollmer and Janet Barcus and many loving nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Roger Dale Rose, brothers: Robert and William Silverwood ,4 grandchildren and brother-in-law: Paul Barcus. Visitation will be 10-11AM, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service, conducted by Pastor Tony Setley at 11:00AM. Interment will be in LaCarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, OH. Memorial contributions may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
