Vivian Mcclintic Hamman

Vivian McClintic Hamman, age 94, of Toledo, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2010. Vivian was born September 23, 1915 in Toledo but grew up in Auburn, Indiana. She spent her summers at a cottage at Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana. There she loved to swim and play tennis and it was there she met her husband Ray McClintic. She went through nursing school at Toledo Hospital and became a loving, dedicated nurse for many years. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judy Lynn McClintic; her first husband of 45 years, Ray McClintic and her second husband of almost 20 years, Louis Hamman. Vivian will be sadly missed by her four children Scott Trish McClintic, Sandra Al Smith, Jay Patty McClintic and Nancy Vic Lewton; 9 grandchildren; and soon to be 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday from 4-9 PM where services will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Syracuse, Indiana.
