Virginia I. Lovejoy Gini Woodyard

Virginia “Gini” Irene Woodyard, 79, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 30, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to George and Irene M. (Burton) Lovejoy and she married Gail S. Woodyard on May 24, 1958 in Perrysburg, Ohio. Together they raised two children. Gini was employed for over 19 years as an ER Clerk for the Toledo Hospital. Gini is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey A. Woodyard and Kelly S. (Alan) Szymanski; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Pat) Lovejoy, Jim (Cathy) Lovejoy, Ken (Jean) Lovejoy and Jeff (Tina) Lovejoy. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Friends will be received on Wednesday, December, 27, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
