Virginia Mae Vanpelt

Virginia Mae VanPelt, age 85, of Monclova, Ohio passed away on Monday May 25, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.  She was born on January 18, 1930 to Jerry and Helen (Rusch) Manore.  Virginia was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Class of 1948. She was the office manager for the familys business, Manore Insurance.  She enjoyed spending time with her family at the cottage, fishing, boating and square dancing. Virginia is survived by her son, Ken (Regena) Van Pelt; daughters, Dianne (Tim) Stroshine and Gail (Bill) Burgess; grandchildren, Myron (Brandi), Mickey (Erica), Sean (Stacie), Ashley, Kimberly and Matthew; great grandchildren, Julie, Logan, Mason, Lydia and Brynn.   Also surviving are her brothers, Harold and Donald Manore; cousin and lifelong friend, Lucille Seagert.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Dale whom she married on July 28, 1951. Family and friends may visit from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
