Virginia Gynne Schuette

Virginia Gynne Schuette, 99, of Sylvania, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Gynne was born on June 27, 1918 in Lima, OH to Charles and Elizabeth (Putt) Hosack. Virginia graduated from DeVilbiss High School, class of 1936. She was employed with the Industrial Printing Company of Toledo and retired from Sylvania Schools, where she worked in the cafeteria. Gynne enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Sand Lake in Onsted, MI. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed listening to the OSU fight song. She was a greeter at the Sylvania Senior Center, often helping handing out baked goods. Gynne will be dearly missed. Left to cherish Gynnes memory are her children, Diane (Mike) Gosik and Joe (Cathy) Schuette; daughter-in-law, Sandy Schuette; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry and brother, Charles Hosack. Services will be private. Tributes in Gynnes memory may be sent to the Sylvania Senior Center, 7140 W.
