Virginia Louise Rybicki

Virginia Louise Rybicki, age 88, passed away Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Sunset Village. The daughter of Vincent and Louise Rybicki, she was born September 27, 1927 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Woodward High School and attended the University of Toledo for Business Administration. Virginia worked for Champion Spark Plug for 22 years. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening and reading. Since her childhood, Virginia loved animals and was a member of several animal rights organizations, being especially active with Paws and Whiskers and their many events. She became visually impaired later in life, but still continued her love for books by listening to books on tape. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by various cousins and extended family, and her cat Misty Ann. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Walker Funeral) with a rosary at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday, December 7, 2015 followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church 3011 Carskaddon Toledo, OH 43606. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
