Virginia Anne “Ginny” Heinlen Pugh passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 15, 2018. She was born on June 19, 1945 in McComb, Ohio to Evelyn Faye and Wallace Heinlen. She grew up in Toledo and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1963. During high school, Ginny began working at Pugh Heating and Air Conditioning where she continued to work until her recent illness. She met her husband, George Pugh, while working at Pugh Heating and they were happily married for over 52 years. Ginny was full of life and always smiling, especially when she was spending time with her family. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to attend their many school activities, sporting events and band concerts. She was the undisputed family double solitaire champion despite her family’s best efforts (which often included cheating and always ended in laughter). It will be these small but powerful memories of Ginny that sustain her loved ones during this difficult time. She is survived by her husband, George; daughter Christine Yates (Jim); son George II; grandchildren Jack Yates, Katie Yates and George Pugh III; and sister, Laura Ordorica. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Douglas Heinlen. A memorial celebration of Ginny’s life will be announced at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice at https://heartlandhospicefund.org. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, OH.
