Virginia Pittman

Virginia E. Pittman age 84 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Mercy St. Charles Hospital. She was born June 10, 1928 in Cullman County, Alabama to Charles and Elizabeth Tolbert Watson. Virginia was Mi.Mi. to her family and Ginny to her friends and siblings. Coming from a family of 17 plus, her life was focused on giving to others. She enjoyed parties and picnics and a porch swing in the sunshine. Everything she touched she made more beautiful with her artistic eye and ability to see potential. She found joy in the little things in life. No one cooked better, no one dressed better and no ones heart was bigger. Deeply loved by her large family she will be greatly missed. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and 13 siblings. Surviving are her son Dan Elaine Blalock; grandchildren Julie Todd Hansen, Lauren Blalock, Kurt Tiffany Blalock; great-grandchildren Josie and June Hansen, and Jasper Blalock; siblings Coleman Watson and Mary Elizabeth Dusseau; niece almost sister Patricia Kohr; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Tuesday from 3-8 PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
