Gini Northup of Toledo, Ohio died on Friday, August 22, 2008 at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Gini was a loving, joyful and jubilant soul who was deeply involved in the local music and legal communities. She was a founding member of several local bands, ranging from Passion Play and Girls Night Out in the past, to The Boilermakers and Two For The Show in the present. In the latter two, Gini partnered and played with her husband Jerry, entertaining audiences for more than 15 years. More importantly, she was a dearly devoted Mother, Wife, Homemaker and Daughter. Gini will be missed more than words can ever say. She was a graduate of Maumee High School. Surviving is her loving husband, Jerry; daughter, Yva Shoop; parents, Walter and Betty Schiller; sisters, Marie Terry Shapiro, Traci Costello and a brother, Michael Schiller. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and ex-husband, Hans Shoop. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Ness. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 after 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
