Virginia A. Ginny Kruse age 84, of Columbus, OH formerly of Monclova, OH passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. Ginny was born in Monclova, OH on May 10, 1928 to Charles E. and Edna Sherman Kruse. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. She retired from Borden Inc. in Columbus after 20 years as an accountant. Prior to this, she was employed at American Standard for 17 years. Ginny was a highly rated fast pitch pitcher in various leagues in Columbus and Toledo. She was inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame in Hamilton, OH in June of 1992. Ginny is survived by her nephew, William Ignaczak and niece, Labette McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel and sisters, Clementine, Lillian and Rose and nephew, David ONeill. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Roth Memorial Cemetery, Monclova, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Community Commitment Campaign 104 W. Broadway St. Maumee, OH 43537. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee.
