Virginia M. Ginny Severin Johnston, age 90, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania. She was born in Adrian, MI on January 2, 1923, to Walter and Lucille Murray. Ginny was a former manager of the Estee Lauder counter at the Lions Store, Southwyck and was a longtime member of Monroe Street United Methodist Church before moving to South Carolina with her husband, Paul. She volunteered at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Moncks Corner, SC and at the Berkeley County Historical Society. She was also the founder and manager of the Berkeley County Museum Gift Shop. Ginny is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Linda Severin of Newton, MA; son, Dan Severin of Toledo, OH; 5 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Severin. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Swan Lake Mausoleum, Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Street Methodist Church Ministry of Music, 3613 Monroe St. Toledo, OH 43606.
