Virginia D Janney

Virginia Janney, 83, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Sylvania. She was born July 29, 1941 in Wood County to James and Hope (Fuller) Clingenpeel. She married James Martin Janney on November 19, 1960 and they shared 48 years together until he passed on August 12, 2009.

She loved to color and enjoyed spending time with family.

Virginia is survived by her grandchildren; Jeffery (Andrea Wakefield) Stockman, Kenneth Bomar, Stephanie Dominique and Steven (Sarah) Gregory; five great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, James; she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angela Stockman; granddaughter, Nicole Stockman and sister, Helen.

Friends and family will be received Friday, March 21, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be private in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
