VIRGINIA K. GRAY Virginia Gray, age 95, of Toledo passed away on Friday September 30, 2011. Mrs. Gray was born in Adrian, Michigan on February 2, 1916 to Ernest & Katherine (Freudenstein) Kuster. She married John Gray in Adrian on December 28, 1940 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1984. A 1935 graduate of Adrian H.S. she attended Sienna Heights University and worked as a Librarian Assistant in Lucas County, serving at the Reynolds Corners and Ottawa Hills Branches. She was a charter member of St. Michael’s In The Hills Episcopal Church becoming very active in Church activities including, serving on the alter guild and serving as a Sunday School Teacher. She cross stetched many of the kneelers currently at the church and worked for many years as head of the Echo Shop. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her son, William (Delecia) Gray; grandsons, James Robert (Carolyn) Gray; John Edward (Jackie) Gray; Jeremy William Gray; great grandchildren, Samantha; Alexandria; Andrew; Jameson, Delaney, Makenna, William and loving nieces, Marcia and Melanie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Kuster In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life for Virginia will be held at St. Michael’s In The Hills Episcopal Church, 4718 Brittany Rd., Toledo, Ohio on Saturday October 15, 2011 beginning at 11 am. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Memorial Garden Fund c/o St. Michael’s In The Hills Episcopal Church or Promedica Hospice Ebeid Residence, 5340 Harroun Rd., Sylvania, Ohio..
