Virginia Ginny Davis Martin, age 85, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in The Toledo Hospital. Ginny loved life and lived it with zest. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved her St. Paddys Day. Ginny served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. If you were one of the lucky people to meet Ginny you never forgot her. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeannette and Cornellious Mooney; husbands, Lewis Martin and Bill Davis; sister, Kathleen Jim Singer. She is survived by her children, Mary Pat Dennis Zygula, Judy Alfieri, Bill Kelly Davis and Kathy Bebop Jakubowski; granddaughters, Teri Randy Sherwood and Kellie Brandon McGilvray; grandsons, Christopher Kelly Alfieri, Scott Julie Zygula, Jeff Jordan Alfieri, Nicholas Kristi Davis, Nathan Heather Davis and Austin Davis; great-grandchildren, Drake, Noah, Sawyer, Derek, Alaina, Ivie, and Sophia, as well as 3 new great-grandchildren on the way; sister-in-law, Mary Flo Boyd; niece, Patti John Lewis; nephews, Michael Amy Singer and Jimmy Patty Singer and special family friend, Tina Bashore. And all her extended family who loved her. Ginnys family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Smallwood for his extra special care and attention for our mother. Friends and family may visit on Friday from 2 to 8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be on Saturday at 11:00 am.
