Violet Smith

Violet Osa (Wiseman) Smith, 90, of Perrysburg, died Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born in Vinton Township, Ohio to William and Bertha (Allen) Wiseman on January 16, 1927. Violet was married to Ivan Smith who preceded her in death in 1985. Violet was a member of Bethel Assembly of God for over 40 years and was passionate about her faith. She enjoyed flower gardens, plants, cooking, and playing dominoes. Violet is survived by her children, Eileen (Don) Gamby, Ivan L. (Lisa) Smith, John D. Smith, Lloyd (Lynn) Smith, Carol S. (John) Tatham, Michael (Claudia) Smith, Cheryl A. Hazlett, Edward (Cindy) Smith, Stewart (Wendy) Smith; thirty-two grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings. Friends will be received on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
