Smith, age 90, formerly of Waterville, Ohio, Maumee, Ohio and Reading, Michigan, passed away, Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Heartland Health Care Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. She was born March 2, 1920 in Waterville, OH to Percy and Matilda Cole Beal. Violet was employed by the Maumee City Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1988 as a matron/housekeeper.
