Viola K. Blatt

Viola K. Blatt, 103, of Oak Harbor, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on October 13, 1906 in Carroll Township, OH to William J. and Susanna Streib Buhrow. On June 29, 1929 in Carroll Township, OH she married August W. Blatt, and he preceded her in death in 1988. Viola was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, Ohio, and was a member of WELCA. Viola is survived by niece, Eyelyn Zelms of Oak Harbor, great nephews, Tom Lenz and Melvin Zelms of Oak Harbor, and great nieces, Sharon Gaby of Clio, Michigan, Ann Scott and Gail Zelms of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Henry Buhrow, and Rollin Buhrow, and sister, Elsie H. Buhrow. Visitation will Tuesday April 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Funeral services will take place Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
