Victoria "Vikki" Lee Domokos

November 9, 1947 — April 22, 2025

Victoria “Vikki” Lee Domokos, age 77, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in the compassionate care of Riverview Healthcare Campus. Born on November 9, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio to Elmer Franklin Greathouse and Mary Marina (Bullock), Vikki was raised in Mansfield, Ohio, where she graduated from Madison Comprehensive High School. She later ventured to Florida, where she proudly earned an Associate’s Degree in Telecommunications from St. John’s Community College.

Vikki had a lifelong passion for connecting with people, which was evident in her many professional roles. She served patrons with warmth and humor at the former J’s “The Garden Restaurant” in Port Clinton, worked as a Triple A Travel Agent, and later brought her signature charm and sparkle to Walmart in Port Clinton, where she retired as a Customer Service Manager.

On May 6, 2001, she married the love of her life, Beni Domokos III. The two shared many adventures together, traveling to tropical destinations like St. Kitts and the Dominican Republic. Beni preceded her in death in September 2024, and Vikki often spoke fondly of their time together.

Vikki had a big heart and an even bigger personality. Known for her Southern charm, quick wit, and love of “bling-bling,” she lit up every room she entered. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and found great joy in crocheting, doting on her beloved pets Mickey, Milo, Chanel, and Sparky, and escaping into the pages of romance novels by Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts.

She is survived by her loving children, Kim Cook and Jennifer (Matt) Torres; grandchildren, Michael Cook, Amberton Fluellen, Phillip Davidson, and Tashiana Matthews; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Michael Greathouse of Mansfield, Kathy Foster of Georgia, Paula Ramey of Wakeman, and Mark Morr of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beni, her parents, and her cherished dog, Mickey.

In keeping with Vikki’s wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Island Safe Harbor Pet Sanctuary, a cause close to her heart.

Vikki will be remembered for her warmth, humor, strength, and the sparkle she brought into the lives of everyone she met.
