Victoria Marie Rogers, 70, of Catawba Island, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born on September 11, 1950 in Lakewood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ralph Reynolds and Florence (Petrofsky) Reynolds-Smetana. On November 16, 1968 she married James M. Rogers and he survives. Victoria graduated from Bowling Green State University, Firelands Campus, in 2006 with an Associate of Applied Business degree, in Business Management Tech Accounting. She was employed by Firelands Winery in Sandusky as the office manager until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. She was also a member of the Ohio State Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame where she was inducted in 2013, and where she also served as secretary. She enjoyed traveling to skeet shoots and shooting with her husband, son, and her extended skeet shooting family. She dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren as they were her world. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball, watching her granddaughter dance, and tending to her flower garden. Survivors include her husband, James; son, Bryan (Melanie) Rogers, Patalaska, Ohio; daughter, Julie (Chris) Hamann, Port Clinton, Ohio; grandchildren, Alexa Hamann, Hayden Rogers, Garrett Rogers, Elijah Rogers; and sisters, Ginny (Dominic) Tuminaro, New York, and Paula Rogers, Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ralph R. Reynolds, III. Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11 am with Fr. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
