Victoria V. Cable

Victoria Cable was granted her angel wings on April 26, 2022.  Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched the hearts of throughout her very memorable life.

Vicki was born September 21, 1948 to Odley and Virginia Sterrett in Toledo, Ohio. She was raised a very hard-working woman and showed this throughout her life and career of being a payroll supervisor. Vicki loved going on many shopping trips, the casino,  camping and spending quality time with her family for many years as she watched her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. She also enjoyed traveling as much as possible and seeing the world as she had a fondness for lighthouses and would often incorporate them into her travels. You could often find Vicki on time to everything, and it was a running joke for many years.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Edward Cable of 31 years; two daughters,  Nancy (Scott) Schutt and Krista (Rich) Findlay; siblings, William (Muriel) Sterret and Deborah Wolf; grandchildren, April Griesinger, Brittany (Bobby) Veres and Richard (Brittany) Findlay; and great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Lexi, Dylan, Beau, Jayce, Kash and Lylah.

Victoria is preceded in death by both of her parents; granddaughter, Ashley Snyder and unborn child Steven; brothers Dave Sterret and  Leonard; stepson, Josh Cable; brother-in-law, James Wolf; and grandson-in-law, Norman Griesinger.

Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1 pm where funeral services will follow at 6 pm.  Interment to be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
