Vicky L. Hafner

Vicky L. Hafner, age 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the Franciscan Care Center, with her beloved daughter, Ariane Henderson, by her side.

She was born on June 7, 1956, in Toledo to Arnold and Janet (Stackhouse) Miller. Vicky was known to many, affectionately and unapologetically, as "The Crazy Lady"-a nickname that reflected her spirited personality, unique sense of humor, and her ability to live life on her own terms.

Vicky found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching Westerns and her favorite show, NCIS. She also enjoyed hot fudge sundaes and any other sweet treat she could get her hands on. She loved watching the chipmunks her son-in-law kept fed at her window.

Vicky leaves behind a legacy of strength and survival in her daughter who has built a loving and supportive life despite challenges.

Vicky is survived by her daughter, Ariane (Jake) Henderson; grandchildren: Kierra (Derek) Duschl, Suzi (Joey) Henderson, Maxwell (Emma) Kazmirski, and Jacob (Katalin) Zimmer; several great grandchildren; sisters, Maryanne Grim and Cindy Olejownik; and Casie Jones and Janet Hafner. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH. Burial will be held privately at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Residential Home Health and Hospice Team for their care and support.
