Vicky Cubberly

Vicky Ann Cubberly, age 82, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Foundation Park. Born on September 19, 1942, in Findlay, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Earl and Gertrude (Loader) Roller.

Vicky graduated from Waite High School and became a licensed dispensing technician, practicing in both Tennessee and Ohio. She married the love of her life, John Cubberly, Sr., and together they shared 63 beautiful years and one day of marriage—a testament to enduring love and devotion.

A true artist at heart, Vicky filled her home with creativity. Her craft room was a treasure trove of special projects, where she spent countless joyful hours knitting, sewing, crocheting, reading, and designing custom jewelry. Her talents brought beauty and comfort to everyone around her.

Vicky was also a wonderful cook, known especially for her delicious fall and Christmas cookies that became cherished traditions for family and friends. Her warmth, creativity, and kindness will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, Kim (Chris) Camp, Lynn (Dale) Newton, and John (Julie) Cubberly, Jr.; her grandchildren, Zachary (Aida), Adam, Leslie (Jeremy), Stephanie (Michael), Ryan (Sandra), Ben, and Sam; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Colin, Eli, Isabelle, Finn, and Grady. She also leaves behind her cherished cat, Missy.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 1–3 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, where funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will be private.
