Vicki Ann Sartin

Vicki Ann Sartin, 76, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Born on February 8, 1950, in Port Clinton, Ohio, Vicki was the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Novoselec) Fowler. She was a proud graduate of Port Clinton High School, Class of 1968.

Vicki dedicated much of her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. She was an exceptionally talented cake decorator and was well known for making the best cookies. Alongside her cousin, Gloria Simon, she operated Aunties and Granny's for many years, sharing hand decorated sugar cookies with the community and bringing joy to countless customers.

Anyone who knew Vicki knew she had a sweet tooth. She never turned down ice cream, cotton candy, or jellybeans. More than anything, her greatest happiness came from her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She treasured staying connected with friends and loved ones by sending thoughtful cards and found comfort in quiet evenings watching her favorite television shows, including Little House on the Prairie, Sanford and Son, and Ghost.

Vicki will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Her warmth, generosity, and caring nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Sartin and Carrie Sartin (Rick Grubb); her son, Jesse Sartin; her grandchildren, Christopher Hovis, Kyle Risner, Cayla Bodi, Chloie Sartin, Melanie Smith, Bridget Sartin, Carter Sartin, Deagan Beach, Alyssa Sartin, Paige Gedeon, Brandon Mooney, and Jasmine Cuevas; and her great-grandchild, Riley Hovis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Theresa Fowler; her brothers, David Simon and Thomas Simon; and her sister, Doris Aldrich.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. A funeral ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
