Vicki Peckham

Vicki Lyn Peckham, 65, of Sylvania Township, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born August 10, 1956, in Toledo, OH and raised by Lyle and Dorothy (Gustafson) Bernhagen. Vicki was married to Ken Peckham, her high school sweetheart who she met while working at KFC, for over 30 years before his passing. She enjoyed family trips to Long Lake, gardening, and watching HGTV.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she cherished Friday night sleepovers with them and could always be found at their sporting events. Most recently, Vicki worked as a talented hairdresser at Main Street Hair Designs with the same group of ladies for over 40 years. Barb, Micki, Diana, and Jan always held a special place in Vicki’s heart.  Anyone who knew Vicki understood she was a Cherry Pepsi connoisseur and always advocated for extra ice! She was a selfless, giving, and supportive person who could always be counted on.

Vicki is survived by sons, Greg (Lesley) Peckham and Brian (Brody Murray) Peckham; grandkids, Alyson and Kendyl; sister, Patti Largent; special nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and her beloved cat, Cleo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; parents; and brother, Brad.

Friends may gather on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, beginning at 3:00 p.m., until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.  A Cherry Pepsi toast will follow the service for all to enjoy one more drink with Vicki. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Toledo Botanical Garden.
