Vicki Lou Ashton

Vicki Lou Ashton, 66, of Port Clinton, Ohio, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born on September 19, 1955, in Tucson, Arizona, the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Crispen) Reyome. On October 27, 1989, she married the love of her life, Michael Ashton, and he survives. Vicki was a member of the Port Clinton Bible Methodist church, where she loved volunteering in their Kid’s Club and spreading the word of God’s love to area children. Her fondness for the outdoors and wildlife led to many adventures and road trips with her grandchildren including her favorite; her yearly camping trip with her daughter, Lisa, and grandson, Tucker, to Mohican. She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, and genealogy, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Vicki was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and left a legacy of God’s amazing love and grace to all who knew her. Survivors include her mother, Nancy Reyome, Port Clinton; husband, Mike; son, Phil (Allison) Ashton, Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Lisa Ashton, Port Clinton; grandsons, Tucker Boss and Jacob Ryf; sisters, Terri (Paul) Limestahl, Fremont, Indiana and Liz (Chuck) Byers, New Hope, Minnesota; brother, Rick Reyome, Reno, Nevada; heart daughter, Lorrae Ryf, Port Clinton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard. A gathering will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 10 am until a Celebration of Life Service at 11 am, at the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church, 150 Maple Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, with Pastor Deron Fourman officiating.
