Vernon K. Klem

Vernon K. Klem, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 21, 2010. The son of Viggo and Mabel Bell Klem, he was born in Toledo on December 28, 1919. He served in WWII in the Army Air Corps and was a member of the American Legion Posts #135 and #40et8. Vernon was employed as a sheet metal worker for most of his life retiring in 1981 and was a member of Local 6 and Local 33. Vernon was a hard working man, ready to lend a hand and help where ever needed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Madeline; sons, Kent Joyce and Brian Joanne Klem; grandchildren, Amanda fianc
