Verneda Mcgannon

Verneda M. McGannon, age 94, of Sylvania, formerly of Versailles in the Woods, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Kingston Residence. She was born on June 27, 1913 in Tiffin, OH to Clarence and Mary Fraley Brendle. She married Thomas T. McGannon on January 20, 1934. Verneda was a long time member Collingwood United Methodist Church and a member of Fort Industry OES #391 for 56 years. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Ann Robert Nilsson and Mary Lou Dersch; sons, Thomas Kathy, Richard Connie and James Donna; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas 1971 and son-in-law, Joseph Dersch.Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 to 2 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., where services will be on Saturday at 2 pm with Pastor Paula Stewart of Collingwood United Methodist Church officiating. There will be an Eastern Star service prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor
