Vernabell May Dart

Vernabell May Dart, 88, of Oregon, OH passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 10, 1928 to Joseph and Essie (Weaman) LaCourse. She worked at Toledo Sports Arena for 19 years and was devoted to taking care of her family. Vernabell was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 68 years, Dale; siblings, Albert, Rosella, Louis, Barbara; grandchildren, Bill Dart Jr. and Erica Lynn Dart. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Florine (Dale), Debra (Lyle), Luann (Marshall), William (Robbin), James, Michael (Jan); 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with funeral services to be conducted at the funeral home at 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 with burial to follow North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
