Verna J. Uebelhart

View/Sign Guestbook Verna J. Uebelhart of Hillsboro Beach, Florida, passed away November 30 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was 95 years old. She was married to Jim Uebelhart WSPD radio and television commentator for 64 years. He passed away in 1998. They had both attended Denison University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. They married in August 1934. In 1972, they left Toledo and retired in Florida. Surviving are her son, John, and his wife Karen. Granddaughters surviving are Kristy David Venner, Missy Marty Kelly, and Heather Jamie Sullivan. She was also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren. They all loved her very much, and she loved them. She will be deeply missed. There will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests tributes to the charity of the donors choice or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
