Verna B. Pearson

Verna B. Pearson, 78, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on June 26, 1938 in Macon County, North Carolina to Horace and Clara (Ayers) Boone. Verna was married to James M. Pearson, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2016. She formerly worked as a cook for Fiddle Stix Day Care. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki L. Grandowicz of Toledo; grandchildren, Jamie (Paul) Jagodzinski and Madisyn Grandowicz; great-grandchildren, Brooklin and Jordan Warren; sister, Reba (Carl) Boruff; brother-in –law, Frankie Lambert; sister-in-law, Judie Boone; nieces, Wanda Haley, Jonna (Alfred) Ewing and Gonana (Norman) Bedner; nephews, Jimmy Boruff, Darrell (Linda) Boruff, Billy (Annette) Boone, Jr.. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Boone and sister, Janice Lambert. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on, Friday, December 23, 2016, at Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the donor’s choice.
