Verna Belle Brown

Verna B. Brown, age 84, passed away Wednesday December 25, 2012. The daughter of Elmer and Naomi Gibbs, she was born June 17, 1928 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Haskins High School. She married Lowell W. Brown on June 6, 1947 in Haskins, OH. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2012. Verna worked for Randsom Rudolph. She enjoyed word puzzles and loved her candy. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Ortloff of Bowling Green, OH, Cathleen Moore of Knoxville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Brian Moore of Knoxville, TN, Chad Clayton of Irvine, CA, Brad Clayton of North Baltimore, OH, Chris Clayton of Tiffin , OH, Mina Clayton of Easley, SC; 6 great grandchildren; twin sister, Donna Schadenfroh; sister, Joan Zink; brothers Thomas Gibbs and Gordon Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jeff Moore, and sister, Ruth Haney. There is no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
