Verna J. Blausey

Verna J. Blausey, 82, of Graytown, Ohio, died Monday, June 16, 2008, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Verna was born May 31, 1926, in Clay Center, Ohio, to Emery and Elva Jeremy Cluckey. On September 12, 1944, in Elliston, Ohio, she married Erney H. Blausey, and he preceded her in death March 24, 2001. Verna was a homemaker and a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Elliston. In addition to farming, Vernas hobbies included gardening, flowers, trees, and crocheting. She also loved caring for her pets. She is survived by her sister, Namona Morrison of Temperance, MI, brother, Allen Mary Cluckey of Bono, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Elva Cluckey, her loving husband, Erney, brothers, Ray, Blake, Delbert and Alburn Cluckey, and sister, Bernadine Hill. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Elliston Cemetery. In memory of Verna, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the donors choice.
