Vera Jean Rublaitus

Vera Jean Rublaitus, age 92, of Holland, Ohio passed away on October 30, 2016 in WakeMed Cary Hospital in Cary, North Carolina. She was born in Woodville, Ohio on November 30, 1923 to Arthur and Minnie (Broadbeck) Small. On March 26, 1947, Vera married Raymond J. Rublaitus who preceded her in death on September 16, 1985. Vera was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, she was an avid quilter, enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Karen Bright, William (Ellie) Rublaitus, David (Roberta) Rublaitus, Thomas Rublaitus, James (Elizabeth) Rublaitus and Kevin Rublaitus; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Brothers, Orville (Donna) Small and Russell (Alice) Small; brother-in-law, Laverne (Nancy) Rublaitus. Vera was preeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Minnie; husband, Raymond Rublaitus; granddaughter, Amanda Toth; brothers, John Harder and Art Small; sisters, Charlotte Vanderhorst, Evelyn Miller and Maybell Ray. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Toledo Memorial Park w/Chaplain Christopher Roper officiating.
