Vera A Magee

Vera A. Magee, age 75, of Oregon, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Bay Park Hospital following a long battle with ALS. She was born on September 1, 1935 in Oregon, OH to Paul J. and Lillian M. (Heemsoth) Pennock. A graduate of Swanton High School, Vera was employed as a Clerical Worker for Owens Illinois for ten years before becoming an Administrative Assistant in 1970 for Envirosafe Services of Ohio, formerly known as Fondessy Enterprises, Inc. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, William S. (Diane) Magee II and Thoedore P. Magee; grandchildren, Melinda (Bradley) Hampshire, Angela and Paul Magee; great grandson, Kaden Hampshire as well as her sister, Nancy K. Henry. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian as well as her sister, Paula Stout. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 10-11:00 A.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will follow at 11 A.M. with Chaplain Christopher Roper officiating. Graveside services will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the charity of the donor’s choice.
