Velma Moore

Velma C. Moore age 95, of Maumee passed away Friday, August 8th, 2008 at St. Lukes Hospital. Velma was employed at W.T. Grant Company retiring in 1975 after 38 years of service. She was a sales clerk at the downtown store and then transferred to the Swayne Field Shopping Center as a supervisor. Velma was a member of I.A.P.W. of Toledo. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Velma was preceded in death by her parents, August and Clara Emch Moore; sisters, Doris Franks, Mabel Koelsch, Florence Viseur, Myrtle Allmeier and Minnie Brahier. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Tuesday August 12, 2008 after 10:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Toledo. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
